Britsino How to Close Account walks you through closing or pausing your account, what happens to your balance and the self-exclusion options available.
Britsino How to Close Account walks you through closing or pausing your account, what happens to your balance and the self-exclusion options available.
Sign in, head to Account Settings, scroll to the bottom and click Close Account. You will be asked to pick a reason from a short list. If you are closing for gambling-related reasons, choose that option, because it triggers a stricter cool-off and routes you to the responsible play team for a quick chat. Otherwise the account closes within 24 hours and you will receive a confirmation email. Any balance is paid back to the deposit method on file.
You do not need to close the account. From the same settings page you can take a cool-off of 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or 6 weeks. During a cool-off you cannot deposit or place bets, but withdrawals stay open. When the cool-off ends, the account reopens automatically. If you want a longer break, choose self-exclusion below instead.
Britsino is registered with GamStop. From your account settings, click Self-Exclude and pick six months, one year or five years. We will close your account immediately and you will also be enrolled in GamStop, which blocks you from every UKGC-licensed gambling site for the same period. Self-exclusion is final. We cannot lift it early under any circumstance, which is precisely what makes it effective.
Any cash balance is paid back to your registered deposit method when the account closes. Bonus funds and unused free spins are forfeited because they are not real cash and they cannot be withdrawn. If you have pending wagering on a bonus when you close the account, the bonus is voided. If you are mid-withdrawal, the withdrawal continues to process normally.
If you closed the account for a non-gambling reason, you can reopen it by emailing support@britsino.com from the same email address. We will run a quick check and you will be back in. If you closed via self-exclusion, the account cannot be reopened until the exclusion period ends, and even then we will require a conversation with the responsible play team first. Please see Responsible Gambling for the full set of safer play tools.
